Pelajar harus diberi pengetahuan menyeluruh tentang aspek praktikal operasi SE. Mereka mesti boleh merancang dan menjalankan sebarang operasi DP, termasuk penilaian risiko, perancangan luar jangka dan penilaian keupayaan kapal. Mereka juga mesti dapat bertindak balas dengan sewajarnya kepada sebarang keadaan yang boleh membawa kepada kegagalan bencana atau yang akan menjadi kegagalan bencana.

Kandungan

Latihan itu berdasarkan program yang digariskan dalam cadangan Pertubuhan Maritim Antarabangsa (IMO) dan Persatuan Kontraktor Maritim Antarabangsa (IMCA).
Latihan ialah gabungan kelas teori dan kelas praktikal tentang simulator menggunakan Kongsberg DP.

Objektif
  • Menggunakan peralatan latihan, pelajar mesti menunjukkan keupayaan untuk mengkonfigurasi dan mengendalikan sistem DP, termasuk ciri khas seperti pengesanan dan pengesanan sasaran automatik, penderia, dan sistem rujukan kedudukan yang sesuai.
  • Pelajar mesti menunjukkan kebolehan melakukan operasi DP. Semua elemen operasi mesti dilindungi secukupnya. Ini termasuk perancangan menggunakan semua maklumat yang berkaitan, perancangan kecemasan, pendekatan tempat kerja, penggunaan senarai semak, komunikasi, jadual pemerhatian DP, pemindahan DP dan keperluan log DP.
  • Pelajar harus menerangkan batasan sistem DP apabila beroperasi di perairan cetek dan dalam.
  • Pelajar mesti menunjukkan pengetahuan tentang keadaan yang akan mengakibatkan keadaan yang lebih teruk atau kecemasan berlaku.
  • Pelajar mesti menilai pelbagai maklumat yang diterima dan mengenali amaran dan penggera yang berkaitan dengan kegagalan bencana.
  • Pelajar mesti menunjukkan tingkah laku yang betul berkaitan dengan kegagalan dan mengambil langkah yang sesuai untuk menstabilkan kedudukan kapal selepas kegagalan.
Penilaian

Pengajar akan menilai dan menilai calon semasa sesi teori dan praktikal. Markah lulus 70%

Syarat kemasukan

Peserta mesti menghadiri dan berjaya melengkapkan kursus Asas Kedudukan Dinamik (DP) yang diluluskan. Pembiasaan DP pelayaran minimum yang didokumenkan (30 atau 60 hari bergantung pada skema) dengan catatan log latihan yang mencukupi.
Peserta mesti memegang sama ada sijil dek Peraturan STCW II/1 - II/2 - II/3 atau sijil enjin Peraturan III/1 - III /2 - III/3. Sijil yang sah hendaklah dikemukakan pada hari pertama kursus sebagai bukti.
Individu yang menamatkan Kursus Asas / Pengenalan DP sebelum 1 Januari 2012 boleh menyertai kursus sekiranya latihan DPO penuh dapat disiapkan dalam tempoh 5 tahun.

Setelah berjaya menamatkan kursus Lanjutan/Simulasi, perwakilan boleh mendapatkan Sijil Pengurusan Sumber Krew Luar Pesisir atas permintaan.
